I chose http://supteach.blogspot.com/ because I was intrigued by the name. This blog has alot of good information that I can relate to. I will keep up with this blog to see what else it has to say. The second blog I chose was http://teachpaperless.blogspot.com/ because I think this is important. The grade I teach all I feel like we do is worksheet after worksheet after worksheet. I think eventually we will all be paperless. This would be good for everyone. It was save money and keep the environment going.

Diigo
http://www.diigo.com/network/krichards21
The only web browser that I usually use is Internet Explorer. I have really never thought about using anything else. I have firefox on my Mac at school and now on my home computer but dont really use it. I guess I am just really familiar with this one and I think once you get use to something you dont want to change. I know that change is not always a good thing, but I will try and look and use other types since they seem to be used more frequent by other people. Browser add ons are easily accessible, easy to install, and have a wide realm of uses (http://browsers.about.com/od/addonsplugi2/a/firefoxaddon.htm). I really havent had alot of experience with add ons. Im sure they are very useful and will look towards using them more often. I havent had alot of experience as I have mentioned but the one that I did install was very successful. I have a newer computer and I found it better than the past computers that I have had. I think this is the standard it meets: Design and Develop Digital-Age Learning Experinces and Assessments. With this standard the teacher can help the students use the technology more wide spread in the classroom and help them promote their creativity. The students will be able to find add ons that would be fit what they need for the classes that they are taking or things they enjoy to search (http://www.iste.org/Content/NavigationMenu/NETS/ForTeachers/2008Standards/NETS_for_Teachers_2008.htm).

Personality Test #2
Well I took the test and I guess I was right. I have an artisan type personality. I figured I would be just based on the hands on learning. As I teach my students everyday with different types of personalities, they all love hands on learning. I implement that everyday with our math. They are always more attentive when they get to use the stuff and actually put on display what they have learned and be able to see it for themselves. That is very important for students learning especially in the lower grades. Teacher and principals are always learning. I know my team of 1st grade teachers would rather do the job or whatever they have to do than sit there and listen to what is going on. They say teachers are the worse listeners and I believe it. Just these past couple of weeks we have learned so much with our new presentation stations. Our new computers have so much to offer and we were taught with the computers right in front of us, instead of just handing out papers and telling us how to do it. We were able to actually walk step by step through the processes.
Personality Test #1
I think I am an artisan, idealists, guradian, and then rational. I think artisan would best fit me because I am very outgoing, fun-loving, and I do better with jobs when they are hands on. I have always been a hands on learner. I guess the true test will see what I actually am.

Browser Wars
What is a web browser? It is a software application for retrieving, presenting, and traversing information resources on the world wide web.
List the most popular 4 web browsers currently? They are Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer 8, and Internet Explorer 7.
What does the term "browser war" mean and what drives the competition between web browsers? It refers to competitions for dominance in usage share in the web browser marketplace and they want to prove that they are the best and are ahead of the competition.
What is the big deal in having the #1 browser? If you have the number one browser than you have succeed the other competition. You are ahead of the game and everyone involved as long as there are no glitches in the system that you are providing.

Introduction
Hi, my name is Karson Richards. I teach 1st grade and I am also the High School Softball Coach at my high school that I graduated from. We won the state softball championship this year. It was the first team title in school history (44 years) and the first softball title (30 years) in Harrison County. I am planning on graduating in December and I cant wait to be done.
Internet Test
My download speed was 1.01 Mbps and upload was 0.38 Mbps around 8:10 p.m. I will try tomorrow afternoon when I get home from work. If I have time I would like to check the speed at school, im sure it is alot faster.
I know we have our internet through Verizon. I know you can also get suddenlink, but I found there internet to be slower. My parents pay about $25.00 a month, that the perks of living at home. haha...
Ok I tried the test again about 7:20 and the speed was 1.02 Mbps and upload was still the same at 0.38 Mbps.
I also had some time at the end of the day today to see how fast the internet speed was at school on their server. It was 60.69 Mbps for downloading and 6.90 Mbps for uploading. I wish I could be on that network all the time.
